A Message from
Steve :
Hello my name
is Steve and I am a good friend of Johnnie's
we live close by each other and this affords
me the opportunity of knowing him very well.
I am the producer of this website on J's
behalf. We have two very different
backgrounds and get along very well. In this
section I am going to give you my
perspective of J. I am a techie type person
and I always acronymize everything so when
you see me referring to J it's Johnnie.
I will be
the person that is not afraid to give you my
opinions and just say things the way they
are. The first thing I can tell you about J
is that he is the most honest and down to
earth person I have encountered, Having a
conversation with J is always a pleasure (
except when I prove J wrong hehe )
I enjoy
sitting around J's house and talking over a
few beers and this is when J likes to
talk... He will talk about his career ,
home life, and a variety of other topics in
this setting. He does not like to talk about
work in mixed company as J considers what he
does a job. His best line when we are
sitting around with other people and they
ask him about singing, concerts ect is " I
don't comment on your work " or as he says to
me "I don't cheer when your working on your
computer" Johnnie has a great sense of humor
and can also be very sensitive too. In
recent weeks after coming home from a tour
of 10 days one of the first things J did was
visit his dad in the hospital to make sure
he was doing well after surgery and on his
way home from the hospital he made a stop
that he was looking forward too for at least
2 weeks. Johnnie stopped off and picked up
his new kitten and brought her home. He
named her BETTY..... Oh damn I just
remembered I have to go over and check up on
her... During Johnnies last tour he
entrusted me to water and care for his
plants... I truly forgot about watering and
yes when he returned one was dead.... And he
was really cool about it.... The last thing
I want is for there to be any problems with
Betty...
